About

Hi, my name is Eric and I am a music producer, engineer, and composer based in Los Angeles, CA. I have been performing and recording experimental sound work since 2014.

My process involves improvisation and experimental sound techniques, combining my engineering toolset with my deeply rooted musical intuition. My music can be equally inspired by Strauss orchestral works as it is Moog synthesizers. I take interest in sonic extremes, oftentimes pushing the limits of an instrument or piece of equipment. This philosophy is present in all my works, I am always seeking ways to reinvent and repurpose the tools at my disposal.

These days I work out of my personal studio called Somerset Classic, equipped with everything needed to produce and record a song from the ground up. I graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2020 with a degree in Recording Arts and a degree in Music Composition with several accolades. From 2020-2021 I worked on staff at Infinitespin Studio, an all analog recording studio in Sherman Oaks. There, I developed a strong understanding of production and workflow, finding commitment and intention to be the most sought after qualities in producing music. My current occupation is with Open, a body/mind wellness company based in Venice. I am head of Audio operations on the production team, creating an immersive and moving audio experience.

If I'm not working on music, you can find me in my kitchen cooking with vegetables from my garden. You might also find me in the foothills of the Los Angeles National Forest identifying the local flora and fauna.
